Empathy as the New Marketing Currency: Building Trust in the New Era

Today I’ve got the secret sauce to completely flip consumer behaviour on its head. We’re talking about the new era of Gen Z and Millennials, where they aren’t just looking for any old products. Nope, they want to support companies that give a damn about society and the environment, as well as lend a helping hand to the underprivileged.

Now, here’s a mind-blowing example: Milky # Mist, a company based in the south, has skyrocketed in the dairy industry. We’re talking about going from a measly 48 crore rupees in FY 2012 to a jaw-dropping 1,000 crore rupees in FY 2021. And guess what? They barely advertise!

Instead, these legends take care of the world around them. They’ve got the backs of 60,000 farmers by directly procuring milk from them. Oh, and they even provide free cattle feed to ensure those cows are happy as well as healthy. But wait, there’s more! They’ve planted over 3.5 lakh trees, rejuvenated 40 water bodies, and built sustainable energy plants. They’re all about uplifting lives in their surroundings.

And guess what? These good guys get rewarded big time.

Listen up, my friends. This right here is the future of all marketing stories. Traditional marketing isn’t going to cut it anymore. The real difference will be made by those who show tremendous empathy and also give a damn about society and the environment.

Boom! That’s the game-changer right there. Get ready for a whole new marketing revolution!
